Honduras Training

Each year we get to train a group of college students to do puppetry. This is not just for fun. The group we are training is actually preparing to go to Honduras on a mission trip.
The students we are training do not get a whole lot of training, but we show them the basics as well as some of the more different or elaborate things that can be done with puppetry. We show them the basics, but we don't stop there. We give them opportunities to actually put a puppet on and practice the things we showed them. They also have the chance to ask any questions that they may have about puppetry.
As I previously said, we do show them some songs that are a bit more in-depth than the songs they will be doing while in Honduras. This allows them to see what is possible with puppetry and it may possibly inspire them to stick with puppetry even after returning home from their trip.

Share the talents that God gave you. If someone is interested in learning how to do something that you know how to do, teach them. They may be able to go places and share the Love of God places that you may not be able to go.
